Dr Beatrice Alex

Dr. Beatrice Alex is Chancellor’s Fellow and Turing Fellow at the Edinburgh Futures Institute, the School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures and the School of Informatics. Alex leads the Edinburgh Language Technology Group, a cross-college research and development team working in the area of natural language engineering at the University of Edinburgh. Her research focuses on text mining and natural language processing (NLP) to extract information from raw text in different domains.
