Dr Alice Reid
Digitising Scotland, Researcher in Historical Demography
Alice is a Lecturer at the Cambridge Group for the History of Population and Social Structure, Geography Department, University of Cambridge. She is a historical demographer and has specialised in investigating the influences on infant and maternal health in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries using individual level data from the 1911 ‘fertility census’, longitudinal data recorded by health visitors, and linked census and civil registration records.
